- Do not leave door open longer than absolutely necessary
- Lets cold air in, heat out
- Security concern members when members are not in the clean room/library and do not notice when unwelcome visitors come in
- Al got a door bell for when members are expecting visitors instead of needing to leave the door open
- Reminder - do not leave equipment unattended
- Laser cutters, 3D Printers, lathe, etc. are dangerous machines and can cause damage to the space or injury/death to operators

- Mounted fire extinguisher in hall way up stairs
- Printed off logo for Nathan and placed it up stairs - by the lights that he is sponsoring the community green screen space with.
- Built movable tailstock, as part of rotary attachment, and submitted a web site write up.
- Created wiring harness for Goliath to use rotary attachment
- Will need training to use
- Issues with rapid Zs - need new profile for when using the rotary
- Open s cad script for calculating steps per inch hack for any circumference
- Z rapid and safe z setting in aspire, don't know how to change the go to zero button height in mock 3
- Brought a metal trolley for the welder , its easy to roll outside and its metal so it wont start on fire like the table
- Brought welding stuff, angle magnets, hammer, ground magnet, extra wire
- Found lathe with stripped t bolts….. reminder when you break the lathe if you not sure how to fix it leave a sticky note.. the lathe can often fix its self.
- Made new t-bolts for the lathe and made an extra set.
- Made a power cross feed drill attachment for the lathe
- Made tiny drill bit tool for lathe
- Vice maintenance:
- Lathed a collar so that the handle no longer jams against the body of the vice
- Straightened out a bent pin ( rotation movement clamp)
- Tightened mounting bolts
- Tightened bolt loading acme nut ( now the vise isn't sloppy and loose)
- Greased all the ways and the acme thread
- Made a power feed attachment so you can move the vise with a drill
- Helped the land lord Jeff with the neighbors door, and talked to him about the kiln - he said as long as its to code and we pay for the electrical work we can do it
- Forge - landlord said yes as long as its only out side we can do it ( then Jeff told me about how he has cast a brass fish he caught)
- Welding table out side - Jeff said Yes to this and offered to bring his metal welding table. He did bring it its out side and need legs
- Offered to install window that land lord brought
- Brought a new tool wind up spring maker
- Jared notified me that the table saw fence was loose
- Upon investigation i found that it was bent and missing a bolt
- Bought a new bolt kit, replaced bolt
- Strengthen out bent part of fence .. now the fence is good
- Jared notified that the miter saw was not cutting 90 when set to 90 adjusted it and now its cutting square. Note Miter saw is very dull
- Made up a computer fan and pipe to blow warm air on frozen pipes in kim space ( freeing up our vacuum )
- Found the drill press vise acme thread to be bent… me an bob straightened it and cleaned up the ways and added a missing bolt to the vise works good again
- After, found a better vice covered and device and put that one in place
- Printed off sign up papers for workshops list and suggested courses
- Reminder to contact thespace@sktechworks.ca about equipment that is broken or needs maintenance
- Please leave a note to tell others not to use the equipment
- If you are planning to do a lot of cutting, purchase a blade appropriate for what you are doing
