Reorganized cordless tools
with Bob, fixed the big drill press
3ft power bar for dirty room and some extension cords
with Jeff, dust collection for the thickness planer
Moved his stuff to back upstairs
Moved some peoples stuff into the community greenwall space
drywalled Scotts room
Rylan is missing a couple Makita batteries
Rylan has noted that people have been breaking the rule of staying by the laser cutter when it is operating
The laser cutter is prone to starting material on fire
Rylan razzed Keeley for breaking the rule during the meeting
Rylan suggested to build fire detection that could sound an alarm
The instruction book should be updated to clarify this rule
To reiterate, stay by the laser cutter when you are cutting
To further the unattended operation rule, it applies to all major equipment in the space
3D Printers, unattended can destroy the print head and/or cause a fire
Goliath, unexpected tool paths can do serious damage to you or the machine. ex. the spindle was recently replaced due to such an issue and cost $300
