      • The board is organizing a program to help new members get aclimated with the space

    • Proposal to the board to consider the space lending of tools to the membership
      • idea given is to create a “tool library” of tools willing to leave the space and a checkout system of some sort
    • Rylan brought tools/did stuff
      • Potters wheel and some clay. Also has a small kiln upstairs. Larger kiln on its way and will live in the back corner.

        • Brought to our attention that it is a safety hazard to have grinders not bolted down
        • Suggested bolting them down with wing nuts so can still change/move them
      • Reorganized cordless tools
      • with Bob, fixed the big drill press
      • 3ft power bar for dirty room and some extension cords
      • with Jeff, dust collection for the thickness planer
        • Al notes to be proactive in emptying the vacuum used for dust collection
      • Moved his stuff to back upstairs
      • Moved some peoples stuff into the community greenwall space
      • drywalled Scotts room
    • Rylan is missing a couple Makita batteries
    • Rylan has noted that people have been breaking the rule of staying by the laser cutter when it is operating
      • The laser cutter is prone to starting material on fire
      • Rylan razzed Keeley for breaking the rule during the meeting
      • Rylan suggested to build fire detection that could sound an alarm
      • The instruction book should be updated to clarify this rule
      • To reiterate, stay by the laser cutter when you are cutting
    • To further the unattended operation rule, it applies to all major equipment in the space
      • 3D Printers, unattended can destroy the print head and/or cause a fire
      • Goliath, unexpected tool paths can do serious damage to you or the machine. ex. the spindle was recently replaced due to such an issue and cost $300
