      • Our current chairman, John, spoke.
    • Finances/Budget
      • James presented a summary of our yearly finances
        • Points of note: We are spending more on maintenance and improvements than we have in the past and we now have to charge and remit GST
        • Net income $5,396 (2019) vs $6,732 (2018)
        • We are growing, and it's awesome.
      • The 2020 budget was proposed to the membership
        • Vote to approve the budget passed unanimously
        • Vote to dispense with an audit passed unanimously

      • Planer needs a tune-up to cut evenly
      • reminder to only use for thickness planing of real wood. DO NOT use on other materials including finishes such as paint, laquer, varnish etc

      • Rylan is the head of the makerfaire commitee (Techworks island, Rylan island V2.0)

      • Karl suggested for an open house or any other day to have people come to the space and have the group help with a problem or task
        • Would demonstrate to potential new members what you can do at the space
        • This already happens informally on the weekly hack nights however we could advertise it more specifically
        • There are posts on Reddit asking for exactly this on a regular basis
      • Chad offered a large format printer
        • 6ft wide, can do E size
        • Members will discuss after the meeting the feasibility of taking it
        • The person donating it is a repair tech and is willing to maintain it for us
      • Taylor is going to start a group project
        • Techworks banner, each letter ~ 1ft x 1ft made with different processes
        • If interested in helping out contact Taylor
