    • New laser cutter - in slow progress
    • Space reorganization - in progress
    • laser filter box - installed clogged within a few days, looking into a cyclonic or equivalent
    • Mitre saw dust port - port repaired - Torban will install tonight
    • air distribution and vac piping - air distribution is almost complete, vac piping to occur later
    • belt sander - motor looks like it over heated, investigating repair/replacement
    • OMIO - test indicate VFD is not functioning, looking into replacement part
    • little bandsaw needs new blade
      • Earl bought a new blade and installed it
    • reminder - if you use a tool, put it back after you are done
  • Weavers guild - we had a meeting
    • they are looking for permanent location so they can set up loom and hold workshops/meetings
    • amount of space and access was discussed
    • The most likely proposed idea is rent the 1/4 of the soft space for their dedicated use and they would need to have some members be techworks members which would also give them access to the softspace for holding events.
  • the front lot was pressure washed. now we can paint the parking lines

• Covid
  • As of July 11, the Sask Government has lifted all restrictions related to the public health order
    • masks are no longer required at the space, however if you want to wear one feel free
    • if you are feeling sick, it would be best to not to come to the space and spread it around

    • work towards having a person responsible of 1 tool
    • James volunteers to take care of the laser
    • Mena offers to take care of the lathe
    • Taylor does not want to look after the belt grinder anymore
  • Laser cutter has a new 40w tube for doing fine engraving. There are new instructions sitting on the laser cutter, please read them.
