Elections for the board will be taking place at that time
we are investigating voting options (due to covid)
official announcements will be sent out next month
couple ideas are mail in ballots in advance, secret poll over zoom and then secret ballots in person, some other web service
Idea was given for nominees to be able to give a little write up to go out with the email blast announcing the nominees
Space Cleanliness
currently Biktrix guys have been cleaning the space, but members are responsible for their own mess
expectations if you leave projects or material unattended
If your stuff is in the way and not labelled, expect it to be moved to purgatory or the scrap bin.
Please leave a note if you do need to leave projects/materials at the space for short periods of time, preferably with contact info so that we can get a hold of you.
Open Floor
Rylan talked with the landlord about parking in the back. Plan is to move the garbage bin to open up what will be our parking spots. Possibly 3 or 4 spots dedicated to us.
There was a minor fire with the laser, the lanyard had fallen in. Rules were being followed which is why it didn't turn into a bigger situation.
James has calibrated the laser alignment on the laser recently.
Acknowledgements
