Meeting minutes: June 13, 2017

    • Income: $2,472.01 Expenses: $2,036.98 Net income for month: $435.03, Recognized net income for month: $-664.77 (loss)
    • Bank: $5,427.65
    • Over $1000 in accounts payable - They have been contacted
    • Donations: 71.80
    • On budget for equipment and supplies though right now these are being donated by members
    • Lot of people that looked like they wouldn't be paying have paid or are going to be paying
    • Projected Net Income for May: $478.00
    • Almost certain Rylan will be continueing to rent upstairs
    • Need one more member to be break even in September. Rylan and Chevez have mentioned they want more space
    • $35 profit from the store and workshops (thanks Scott!)

    • Door System
      • Locksmith made some corrections to latch
      • Andrew changed power supply on inner door
      • Scott created door system status page
        • Should this be left open? No one against. Feature creep plans to add aditional devices and information to this page
    • Review of rules surrounding guests
      • A guest can be here and use the hand tools, however, they are not allowed to use the larger equipment. Liability and training etc.
      • You must be present when your guest is here
    • Review leave projects in the space
      • The space must be left clean and availible for other members to use.
      • Projects that are in progress (glue drying while clamping) can be left short term, leave a note with your name and plan
      • Larger or long term projects need approval from the board
    • Scrap bin items should fit in the scrap bin
      • If it cant fit in the scrap bin either give it to someone, take it home, or throw it out
    • We still have space upstairs for rent if you need space for a larger project/storage
      • you have an idea for modifications or utilizing the pace, pitch it to the board for approval
    • Front light switches need to be labeled
    • John is the new lathe trainer, bug him to run a training workshop
      • Note that lathe is for metal, can do wood on it but not extensive as it gums up the machine and creates a fire hazard
    • Erin is having global interview her about her business, she has asked and been approved to use the space and will be doing it on the morning of 17 June 2017
