- Motion to accept meeting minutes from May 09, 2017 and June 13, 2017 as modified accepted unanimously

- Income: $2,330.00 Expenses: $2,053.16 Net income: $276.84 Additional Recognized: $166.67 Recognized net income: $443.51

- Donations: $13.32
- Would be break even except rent went up this month due to property tax and insurance increase
- Not including Rylan space upstairs as we don't know if he will be continuing
- $57.16 profit from the store and workshops (thanks Scott!)

- 12 August 2017, Techworks summer social (BBQ? Details are a little fuzzy at this point)

- 28-29 October 2017, pet expo at Market Mall in old zellers building. Will be a table setup if anyone is interested.

- Al is going to make a sign up sheet for members who are interested in training on equipment
- Al is coming up with some hackathon/competition challenge ideas for members to participate
- Library still looking for helpers for button workshops
- Mystery person is not finished organizing the dirty room, they would like to move the lathe and would like some help
- John asked the attendees what they would like to see happen around the space
- Sheila suggested Christmas themed workshops closer to Christmas
- Al suggests a “Techworks” project that members can work on together
- Enter Techworks into a competition (ginger bread house competition was an example)
- Structured with a schedule
- Chevez suggested adding dynamic lighting to catch the eye of members and potential members to be more memorable
- Add more production/promotion to events
- Al hates our Facebook page
- Scott has been neglecting the page encouraging people to go to the group
- James suggested a system for members to borrow tools from the space
- Members showed hesitation out of concern of tools be gone when they come to the space to use themed
- John said this would require a lot of regulation that we probably aren't ready to commit to
- Scott suggested a community toolshare
- Al likes the idea just needs to be thought out
- Al moved the scrap bin to the back, suggesting material not be stored in the dirty room
- John reminds members there is still space available to rent
