Board of Directors

The board will consist of no fewer than 3 and no greater than 7 directors.

Once elected, the board will assume the following positions, as they see fit. The positions of President, Treasurer and Secretary must be filled before directors can be appointed vice president or directors at large:

• President
• Vice president (if greater than 3 directors)
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Directors at large

Responsibilities of the board include (but aren't limited to) the following. These items don't necessarily correspond with individual positions:

• Finance – Handling all the money, collecting dues, keeping the books etc.
• Operations – Managing the shop, the tools, the building etc.
• External affairs – Dealing with the outside world. Sponsorships, legal matters etc.
• Keeping and posting minutes at all meetings
• Calling meetings of members (with appropriate notice)
