Propose June 11. * Robot workshop continuation to come; date TBD * PCB fabrication May 21, Al to host * Eagle PCB workshop, June 4th, Scott to host; bring laptop * Aluminum foundry experiment on hold; waiting for a crucible * Soap making still available when people are interested, but Scott wants to do Eagle PCB first * Al will do casting/moulding workshop before soap so we can make branded soaps * Tools * Equipment loan forms being updated to allow members to bring their own tools home without permission; Scott working on it * We are getting a Cubify Duo on consignment while somebody else is trying to sell it * New business * Saskatoon Public Library wants advice on setting up a makerspace in new Stonebridge library. Al advising them and trying to get us advertising through it. Perhaps we can use their space to teach classes. They are also doing some science classes for high school students in September; wanted to know if we have classes we can teach. * We met with Stephanie Yong from Wilson Centre / Catalyst group. Discussing possibilities of collaborating with them and moving in with them in Innovation Place. * Potential concerns: * Parking during the day? Could we get a couple of shareable tags? * We should use forums to track discussion * What would be the agreement for Catalyst members to use our tools? * Would people cancel memberships if rates went up 50%? One said some might cancel it over winter while not actively using it. * Jim Meier currently behind on membership dues. Need to discuss and review his membership before next meeting. * Scott motions that we offer cubbies at the front as paid storage space at a rate of $20/month for each of the four full-size cubbies effective June 1st. Security would be the renters responsibility; member is permitted at their discretion to install a door and lock. If rent is over one month past due, Techworks is given possession of the contents and any modifications. Motion passes unanimously.
