We have written-off his dues owing. * Jeremy Rans has resigned from the board due to not having time to attend to his duties. He may also be cancelling his membership soon. * Devin Bradburn has also cancelled his membership because he is moving away. * Adam Unger and Regan MacMurchy applied for membership and were accepted by the membership committee. Find out about the open house through Reddit. * John would like to put on a semiannual showcase of the projects our members have made here and elsewhere. * What else could we do to make ourselves known? Local makerfaires? * Get ourselves into the local free papers, like Planet S, Tourism Saskatoon. * Regan offered to put up posters at Sask Polytechnic. * Bylaws and Policies: * John has been putting together several already. Tried to get help from Square One, but they don't work on those. Continuing to contact others for guidance. * Also put together a new policy and form for requesting a key card. Still iterating on the rest of the policy. * Equipment: * Laser cutter will have a new circuit installed that will switch both the laser cutter and the ventilation fan. * Social events and workshops: * 30 March 2017, Saskatoon Public Library is hosting a viewing of a documentary about makerspaces. We have been invited to attend and to host a booth. * Kilobots 35 will be hosted in Warman, 21 January 2017. TV crew will be present. * New lock on the back gate. If you don't have the combination, ask another member. * We have more lights in the clean room! * Be sure not to block the overhead door of our neighbours. They use them at all hours. * New business: * Our landlord has asked us to mount our sign up on the wall instead of sitting on a pallet. Albert La and Andrew Wright have volunteered to take care of it.
